Billing and licences
How a licence is bought, what happens before it is paid for, and how it moves between people. The terms of service are the binding version.
How is Slobal software licensed?
As flat monthly subscriptions. Team plans are billed per seat, personal plans per account, and both Helmsly and AgnCred are offered when you create a personal account or a workspace. Current prices are shown at that point, which is the one place they are published: this site quotes none.
Do I pay Slobal for model usage?
No. Helmsly is BYO-LLM: you bring your own model keys, and there is no per-token charge from Slobal. Whatever the model provider charges you is between you and them. The Slobal licence is a flat monthly subscription, so your bill from us does not move with how much your agents work.
What happens between creating a workspace and paying?
A new workspace starts in evaluation, so you can create it and look around before any money changes hands. Entitlements activate when the first period is paid; until then the workspace stays in evaluation rather than being closed off. A personal account works the same way, with the licence becoming active on payment. Prices are shown when you create the account or workspace.
What if a payment is late?
Each paid period carries a three-day grace period, so a card that fails on renewal day does not stop work straight away. After that the licence lapses back to evaluation, and the entitlements that came with it stop until the period is paid. You can pay the period at any time from your Admin Centre or My Account to bring it back.
How do I cancel?
From your Admin Centre or My Account, at any time. Cancelling stops future periods; it does not refund the period already running, except where consumer law says otherwise. The licence keeps working until the period you have already paid for ends, and closing a personal account is a separate step from cancelling a licence.
Can a licence move to a different person?
Yes, within the workspace or account that bought it. Licences are issued, assigned and renewed from your workspace, and seats move between people without reinstalling. Licence keys and seats belong to the buying workspace or person, and cannot be resold.
What billing information does Slobal hold?
Workspace name, company name, licence orders, seats and their payment state. Payment confirmation is handled through the payment method named on your order. Order records stay in our ledger after an account closes, because commercial records must be kept. The privacy policy lists everything held and the reason for each item.
Is Slobal software open source?
Slobal does not publish its products as open source, and nothing on this site claims otherwise: Helmsly and AgnCred are licensed as flat monthly subscriptions. What you get instead is self-hosting and verifiability. Helmsly runs on a machine you control, with your sessions, memory and files staying there. AgnCred commits evidence by hash and signature, so anyone can check a receipt independently, offline, without trusting Slobal. If you need more than that before you buy, write to info@slobal.com and ask.
